Seriously, watching this fic grow has been awesome.

Gabe as a crazy cult leader (and not like, cultverse leader, but ACTUAL SCARY CULT leader is amazing.
Frank as the kickass heir to the Mob is awesome and believable (and still reminds me of my cousin, like WHOA). I love his utter devotion to his family and Jamia and his whole code of how things are done.
Gerard just trying to make it through his time (he's not scary, how could anyone think he's scary?! awwwww so sweet) and he and Brian are \o/ wayyy adorable! (be prepared for me to ask for that follow up we talked about, for reals)
Pete PEEEETEEEE. possibly my favourite character in this fic, because he tries so hard! (LOL check fraud) he's built himself this

well. okay. what a fucking epic thing to read on a wednesday morning. i haven't properly read or commented on fic in a long fucking time, so i don't think this comment is going to be any good, but i - enjoyed this. i mean, it was fucked-up all over the place, but you really made the bandpeople into some crazyinteresting characters, & the whole unravelling warfare between the groups was totally gripping. i'm trying to think of a better way to say "this was well-written!" but, there you go. this was well-written. i was looking forward to reading this whenever you mentioned writing it, & this really was worth the wait. (favourite: frank, for some reason, & his mobster family & his waiting for jamia on the other side. ♥)
