You live in an amazing city :) I've been there once and looking forward to coming back again. I know how it feels, I too can't fully appreciate the area and country I live in, and still I can't imagine living anywhere else for a long time. This country is a part of me.
I'm glad you re-discovered it and your last line is spot on ;)

you should deffo come back, theres so much to see :)
yeah its true, often its like you don't know what you got 'til its gone as well, when I go away I miss so many aspects of London.
But its definately important to have pride in where you come from, coz like you say, its a massive part of who you are.
thanks :)

I love London. I was there again 2 months ago and I already miss it like hell. *sighs* I love listening people, tube heat and rush, mornings at "Subway" and crowded pubs during matches. I just.. LOVE London. This year I will go there too.

There is something about it that stays with anyone who goes there, no matter where you're from.
I totally agree, i love how full it is (dunno how else to describe it) i love being part of a crowd, i love the atmosphere wherever you go and how you get get totally different atmospheres in places not far apart at all :)

Wow! I'd love to go around London with a Monopoly board! But I totally understand what you mean about London. I was down from Sheffield about a month ago, sick and tired of phoning Kings Cross to ask for my suitcase and not getting a reply, and on a mission to get it myself. It took them 5 minutes to find it, compared to the hours I'd spent trying to actually get in touch ( ... )
