But the nurse insisted he come along. "The doctor is nice. He's not trying to hurt you, didn't you hear the intercom? Come along now." She followed him until he actually entered the room.
"Oh, doctor? Please see what's going on with him refusing to eat anything? We can't have anyone just wasting away on us."

"Not eating doesn't sound too good," Dr. Disraeli commented as he placed a mask of concern on, "Has something been bothering you since our last visit, Mr.... ah, but I'm not so sure on your name for the day. Would you prefer Enrance, or Kaoru?"
Thinking a moment he remembered how their last visit had gone and pondered over the possibility that the man was acting. Twice in a row had to account for something, after all. "If I recall correctly, you were not feeling well during out last visit either."

Of course the nurse had to go mention that he hadn't been eating much. It wasn't an act. Couldn't a person just...not be interested in food? Most people would answer that negatively, but...
"I...I'm feeling fine, really. I'm just not a big eater, Doctor. Is that...really the most terrible thing?"

"If you are refusing to eat anything at all, that is a bit disconcerting," he explained, "Not being a big eater aside, if you are not eating anything then it is right of your nurse to worry." A starvation tactic was childish, Jizabel had to admit, though he could see where someone mentally disturbed would try for it. In this place it was about the only way to protest without being sedated.
