And so they were outside. It was kind of surreal, and Sora found himself glancing up and down the long street (which seemed even longer when it was so dark), as if waiting for something to come lurching through the fog. The fog didn't seem to be as bad as it had been that night, which was hopefully a good sign. Maybe they were in the clear after all.
"Was it like this when you were here the last time?" Sora asked as he turned around to face his Other, an inquisitive look on his face. He didn't know if Roxas had seen much of the town beyond Tasty Burger during that time, but there was no harm in asking.
"Anyway, I guess we can head left," he decided as he pointed in that direction with one finger. "Since it's really only the book store, toy shop, and park to the right." It was the left that he hadn't searched as thoroughly, so that made more sense to him.
