It was going to be a busy night. Maes Hughes had no less than three visitors slated for the night - Ed wouldn't take too long to deal with, Alfons he planned to just arm and give a few pointers to, and then.... Roy. Assuming Roy was going to follow through with what he'd said. Who knew

Also, there had been Alucard to think about. He'd known Alucard in the old institute and they'd even been allies... would it be the same here? Would this Alucard be the same, yet without memories of their encounter? How would any of this work?
With these questions in his mind, he gathered up his flashlight and his pens, knowing they would work well as projectiles were he to apply enough force and accuracy to the throw, and headed out into the hall.
He shut off his emotions and replaced them with Chuunin Instinct. He couldn't allow himself to be distracted... not until he knew his once-students were safe.

He paused to realize that Roy was also still in the hallway, in the company of silver-haired youth and a woman who could conceivably be Lt. Hawkeye. Who else was here? He'd have to ask Roy to talk about Amestris and his experiences in the hospital later. For now, Otacon had to find his friends.

Now it was all a matter of counting the right number of doors.

Haku shoved away the nagging doubts that Zabuza-san was really like that man who had pretended to be his father. He fought back a sob. Not now. Weakness CANNOT be allowed.

The joke and its elaborateness had gone on long enough for his taste. Pushing himself off the bed Demyx attempted to summon the Corridors to Darkness, nothing. He tried again, still nothing; the only thing he succeeded in doing was giving himself a headache.
Frustrated, Demyx unceremoniously flopped face first on the bed, clutching the pillow to his head he felt plastic underneath it. A flashlight, flashlights aren't normally kept under pillows. This was his first clue that something was amiss: not the intercom, not the radio, and not even Ichigo, but a flashlight.
Demyx was not the sharpest crayon in the box, but even he had to admit that this was definitely odd, even for him. Armed with only a flashlight he set off to get to the bottom of this, whatever this was.

With the information he'd gotten from his roommate, Hughes, Crawford felt that he would probably be able to handle himself on the first night. But there was something more pressing to him than getting out of here just yet. The feeling of silk against his mind, followed by those sharp barbs ... a mental feeling against his walls, and momentarily within them, that was so familiar.
Schuldig was here.
He knew the other man would be looking for him, and so he, too, would go looking for him. Arming himself with ... a flashlight? Was that it? Crawford frowned at the object before testing its strength and power. It would do for now. Regardless - he armed himself with the flashlight and the radio and set out into the hallway, ignoring everyone else when he didn't catch sight of bright red-orange hair.
