Nightshift 36 - M11-M20

Nightshift tended to prove just as lackluster as Dinner. At least Tyche was there to give the Gambler company for the previous shift (and she received most of his steak. Enjoy it as he may, he just never felt right about eating it). Without a roommate, there was little to complain about, so he simply watched as the kitten tunneled herself under his ( Read more... )

Gin didn't take long to gather his things. It seemed fairly obvious that the leadership in the Arts and Crafts was crumbling what with the disappearance of some of the members and the bickering going on within the ranks. He was curious about the basement though, especially after the questionable posts on the bulletin. As if the threat of death would be enough to frighten most patients away ( ... )

Hohenheim was in a very good mood. With a modified pillow case over his shoulder and bottles of lovely chemicals, he was off to test some of his theories about some of the materials in this institute. It seemed very likely that he would have good results, since the basics of chemistry didn't involve any specialized skills aside from a knowledge on how to utilize them. Hopefully, tonight would go well.

Stepping from his room, he considered checking out the wall material close by. That wouldn't do though. It was clear that whatever lived at the Institute didn't actually attack in this area, so he would have to go where the monsters had a possibility of showing up.

The chemical properties could change from one place to another in this place. He had no doubt about that, so he would simply have to check things out.

Kratos ran through a mental checklist of what he was going to ask Tamaki tonight if he could as he closed the room door behind him. There was the issue of advertising for more healers, and then of course the mobile healing unit and Raine's probable absence.

He remembered how he had been this time last week: an emotional wreck. It was satisfying to know that there would be no repeat performance (and therefore no ugly "wake up" from the Professor), and Kratos set off toward the clinic in relatively decent spirits.
