It was easy, sticking to the center of the hall, not wanting to attract any attention from anyone that might be in the Sun Room, and not wanting to be anywhere near the doors that lined the hallway either. She knew it was unlikely someone would just happen to reach out and tug whoever was out there into the room, but there was that chance, and Elena still couldn't remember exactly which room she was brought to the night her memory was messed with. Having to go through that again, that made her more nervous than the idea of running into some monster along the way.
She didn't voice any of this though, just making sure she was right alongside Rose as they made their way down the hall. They were so close, right there, and Rose would have what she needed. That was enough to take the edge off of her nerves.

She spotted the doors the same moment Elena did, and a smile flashed across her lips, something a little more feral, a little more predatory than her normal friendly expression. That's it," she whispered, the first hint of hunger gleaming in her gaze as she stared at the doors.
"Come on," she murmured, impatient now, though not enough to make her careless. She pushed ahead, knowing Elena would stick close. If there was something in there in her way, it was going to seriously regret standing between her and dinner.
