[M74]Something was really wrong here. Snow had been here for a few days already and had gotten the way things were supposed to work around here. There was a rhythm, a system. That's how prisons were supposed to be, right? But now it seemed like everything was changing far too fast. Too much was going on. The guy Snow shared a room with never came

Carter really, really wanted to just stay in again this evening. People could take care of themselves. But there was something buzzing in his head, like a picture of a map of a place or a memory of a thing he'd never actually experienced....Carter scratched his head, as if the image was a biting flea that could be flicked away.
There were rooms and he knew where they were and he'd never been to them before. It was like a deja-vu in reverse, where you remembered something that hadn't even happened once. Carter scratched his head again. He didn't know why the rooms were important yet. Maybe it would come to him if he went there.

But this was his third night here, and Woody knew he couldn't cower beneath a pile of blankets all night. If he wanted to get out of here, to find the others and a way back home to Andy, then he had to fight back. He and Buzz had already lost one night. They definitely couldn't afford to lose another ( ... )

But they were a little different than Woody's had been. For starters, they involved grabbing the ring from his desk draw and tapping the hidden switch in the side that caused his costume to release in a rush of red and yellow cloth. Then Wally shed his clothing with a touch of speed that made his stomach churn and reminded him that he couldn't afford to be that carefree with his abilities like he used to.
He changed into his comfortably familiar costume more slowly, then collected his flashlight and the strange other ring he had before heading out into the hallway beyond.

Ducking past the Doctor, Brainiac 5 headed for the door he'd indicated, pushing it open and flicking the light of his flashlight around to double check that the room was empty. Once that was done, he slipped inside and stopped, waiting awkwardly for the Doctor to close the door behind them.
"I suppose I should tell you what I know of what happened, as well as my theories?"

"That would be a good place to start, yes," he agreed. He took a few steps towards one of the desks in the room, pulling the chair out and taking a seat, facing towards Brainaic 5. "I can't be of much help otherwise, and, well... Helping is why I'm here! I could be of a lot of help!"
Besides, the Doctor couldn't deny he was extremely curious about everything that had gone on in the experimentations (appalling as they were). Donna would probably yell at him (again) if he tried to ask her any questions, but Brainiac 5 was offering to share.

"According to the experimental data the... 'doctor' shared, the process involved the injection of liquid technology and implanting hardware that would assist in the control thereof."
He hesitated a moment, wondering how much more he could say without touching on one factor that was more unsettling to him, but added; "There was also a pilot program included, apparently. I'm uncertain on the exact details, but the combination makes me think that it's designed to be relatively easy to use. Assuming you meet the... prerequisites."
