I am rooting for the Flyers because A) NOT CHICAGO (the only thing worse is Detroit) and B) PRONGS!!!!
Every once in a while, I wish to be back before the strike and the sale of the Blues w/ the subsequent sell-off of anyone who had both talent and more than a year in the Bigs under his belt. We can't even make it out of the gaddammed first round any more, if we even make it in. *remembers watching Hull and Gretzky wearing the Bluenote for that one brief shining part of a season*
I LOVE Pronger. I'm so happy we acquired him. He's amazing and I love the mind games he's playing with the young Blackhawks. If we win the Cup, he's sure to take the Conn Smythe trophy and he absolutely deserves it.
I'm hoping this coming week won't be so bad. I do get to leave early on Tuesday to take Harry to a baseball game, and come in a little later on Wednesday because I have a dentist appointment in the morning.
The Stanley Cup finals will be the only championship I get to see this year, since I'll be in England for the World Series and the Super Bowl. If the Phillies make it into the playoffs again this year, you'll need to prepare yourself for me in stressed out playoff mode.

I hope the Flyers win, not because I care particularly much about sport, least of all American sports, but I know how much it means to you.
