Nov 17, 2009 23:13

I'm usually done by 2pm on Wednesdays anyway, but there are no patients scheduled for the morning, and nothing for me to do. so the doc told me to take the day off and go write a novel. And don't forget, every strange or crazy person you meet is just a character-in-waiting...

Every day brings you closer to curly wurley's, pink wafers and a cardboard cutout of the Master. Remember this!
Seems like the application process if going well, though. Do you know when you'll be hearing back from Unis? *is excited*

The old man who undresses sounds like a strange fellow indeed. Could be worse. I know several girls whose job it was to wash old men.

Yay Master! Even if it is only a cardboard cutout.

I have no idea when I'll hear from unis. I guess after all my materials are officially submitted I'll ask her. I don't know if they do a rolling admissions system, where they start accepting people as soon as applications are received, or if they wait and tell everyone at the same time. (Which is usually April 1 around these parts.)

Oh no. No washing. See, this is why I'll never be a nurse. I have great respect for them because I can never do bedpans or wash old men. *shudders*

He's looking at me as we speak. It's kind of cool and intimidating at the same time. As I'm on my computer I have The Master, Audrey Hepburn, Marlon Brando, a killer rabbit and a tribble watching me. Our flat is geeky indeed.

*is excited about when you hear back*

I did some washing in my job. It becomes very clinical very quickly. You wash your hands a lot, even if you're wearing gloves as well, but you do get used to it faster than you'd anticipate.

Don't forget about Ed. How could you forget about Ed? Shaun can't wait until they're reunited.
