It takes a lot for Croix to panic and while this wasn't one of those times, he had to admit he had been worried when he realized that Prier was missing right in the middle of the whole fiasco. She herself confirmed his fear that she had been caught up in the destruction. However, since she was still being stubborn as ever and managed to walk away from the whole thing... she was fine. At the very least, it wasn't anything serious like some of the others. What was it with nearly getting buried alive lately?

So he went down in the recently destroyed streets, managing around the many debris the two monsters created. It was so calm now that those two were gone Prier hadn't given him a very good address, but he had managed to narrow it down. Finally noticing a small 'café' sign and that unmistakable red hair through the window, he went in. "Prier?"

Prier visibly perked, and turned her head at Croix's familiar voice. Hopping up from the seat, she immediately regretted it as her ankle throbbed, but she did her best to ignore it, and keep a straight face.

"Croix! Um... hi," she said, rather lamely, as she realized she wasn't sure what to say.

"...See? I'm fine. Totally okay," Prier said, but her roughened appearance, and the clear favoring of one foot over the other, wasn't making for a very strong case.

Croix looked her over. He had spent enough time on the field to recognize some of the more common wounds around. Prier looked terrible, but most of her wounds were superficial, small cuts and bruises, but nothing too important.

Except for the fact that he did notice her awkward pose (and it's not as if her answers didn't make it obvious that was wasn't). It was too quick to say how bad it was, but it was clear that it was hurting her. "You better sit down, Prier," he said, coming in to do the same. "What exactly happened?"

Her false smile faded and she finally gave in, plopping back into the chair, cringing a bit as the painful throbbing increased at the movement. "I was just on my way back from getting supplies. Next thing I knew there was thumping and one of the monsters went right by and a building near me was falling. I got out of the way mostly, but I guess I kind of twisted my ankle."

Prier didn't think it was broken, or at least, she really hoped it wasn't. It hurt enough as it was.

"Is it true there's actually TWO of them now?" she asked, glancing up at him. She'd noticed a couple people mention it.
