Characters: Larxene, Drusilla and Garnet Content: Drusilla found her Larxene a healer. Location: Larxene and Drusilla's appartment. Time of day: Evening. Warnings: None... yet...
Her sleep habits had gotten worse in the few days since Marluxia had been there, and Larxene was almost certain that there were things circling her ceiling at the moment, waiting to drop down on her.
The light from the door opening startled her, but not enough to make her move. The familiar form of Drusilla entered, and Larxene didn't argue as her head fell onto the vampire's lap. Her leg hurt like a bitch, and she couldn't exactly form coherent sentences while those things danced on the ceiling and distracted her, but she could at least take some pleasure in the woman's lap. Dying or not, she did enjoy this little lap...
A healer was good news. She snickered. "Who'd you con into it?" she mumbled.
Drusilla massaged Larxene's head gently as she hummed a soft tune. "Some pretty little witch," she purred. "Calls herself a white mage... says she can fix your nasty wound and make you all better."
She continued to hum softly and glanced up at the ceiling, cocking her head to the side. "If she doesn't, I'll take care of her appropriately."
Garnet had made sure she was prepared. She'd bundled up in her coat, and boots, and added a scarf to the ensemble so she wouldn't freeze on the walk across the city. Then, she'd secured her knife, snug in it's sheath, to her belt. A moment to scrawl out a quick note for Zidane, incase he didn't check the network. Pawing through the space behind the Concierge desk at the hotel, she found exactly what she'd been looking for -- a map. Perfect.
After taking a few minutes to plot the quickest, straightest course, she set out into the cold. She kept on her guard, eyes darting around to make sure she wasn't being followed, by person or parasite. The sun had started to set by the time she made it to the right part of town. At least, she hoped it was the right part of town. The girl on the network hadn't said what building they were in, so the former queen let her intuition guide her. She picked the building that looked the most inhabitable, and let herself in. Nothing to do now, but try the doors until someone answered
( ... )
"She's more than likely made friends in the city," Larxene mused. "It wouldn't do us any good to do away with her when the rest would only follow."
There was a knock on the front door of the apartment, and Larxene pulled her head from Drusilla's lap reluctantly. She'd have to reward the vampire later for being so good to her.

"Sounds like our visitor's here."
