Gig still had no idea what was going on. The only thing he knew was that something had gone wrong when they had jumped into the portal that would take them to Drazil. For starters, it hadn't taken them to Drazil. Instead Gig had woken up in a ruined city alone and with a body of his own. And even though that last bit was a huge improvement, he had wanted a body of his own for ages, something just didn't feel right.

Maybe it was the whole 'ending up in a city that's being terrorized by a possible World Eater who spawns smaller monsters and having your powers sealed' that had given Gig that feeling but...No, something else was bothering the Master of Death. To figure it out the god had decided that stretching his legs would do him good.

The buildings in this world were really damn strange in his eyes. Only palaces tended to be that huge. It wasn't just the buildings either, everything was weird and confusing. Just sitting still and pondering it over wouldn't help, he had to move. Sitting still just wasn't his thing anyway. Not when ( ... )

Thinking that she heard something, Evey looked around the room over the top of the book she was reading. Seeing nothing, but still worried, she grabbed one of the knives that she had sitting on the table she had placed next to her sitting place of choice. She set it in her lap, and pulled the book back up to reading level.

If whatever it was came in, and appeared to be a threat, she'd attempt to skewer it against whatever wall it was close to. And hopefully succeed.

Upon walking into the next room Gig turned around, staring back into the room he'd been in previously and thus missing the other human in the room entirely. He was already considering going back outside, there didn't seem to be anything of interest around here. Just...weirdass stuff and creepy rooms. Nothing exciting.

"What the hell's up with this place anyway?" He mused aloud as he gave his arms a good stretch, his wings shifting along accordingly. Why would anyone create a place like this? It didn't make any sense to him. Then again not a lot had ever since he had woken up in this bizarre world.

Hearing a voice, Evey turned and looked over to see someone standing in the doorway, looking into the other room.

"Are you asking about the museum, or the city in general?" She asked, folding the book closed, and looking over at the new arrival. She was sizing him up as she did so, just in case.
