"You lived in London?"

Fred stepped out from the alley he had wandered into during today's stroll. He hadn't expected to see anyone else, but there, in the middle of the street, stood a girl. She was alone, apparently talking to herself. Fred liked her already.
He paused before he spoke again, trying to tell if she was upset with him for jumping in.

"Ah, forgive me for eavesdropping. But I'm curious, what was it like?"

Evey turned around quickly when she heard a voice coming from behind her, causing some of her hair to fly around and hit her in the face. A person she hadn't met was standing there, just looking at her.

"Oh, it's not a problem." At least, not a big one at this point, she was used to having V appearing out of nowhere at random times. "It was chaotic, to say that much." She replied when he asked about London.

"But I get the feeling that my London is different than yours." That's what she had been gathering by talking to other people.

Fred smiled as he watched the girl's hair brush against her face. It wasn't the most unique hair, but the brown curls were lovely.

"I don't exactly have a London. I've only heard of the place once or twice. Was it a city like this?" He finally broke his gaze with her hair, letting his eyes wander to the tall buildings surrounding them. He was still amazed by the skyscrapers, after living in such a small town for all his life.

"It was in certain ways, but in others it was very different." She responded to his question, brushing her hair behind her ear, somewhat frustrated with it.

"It was a big city, but there weren't as many skyscrapers, and the buildings were old, historic buildings." Norsefire hadn't done anything to change that, keeping London just like it was before they had taken power. The less the people had known, the better, as it were.
