I just watched Planet of the Dead: great fun!

I also watched Red Dwarf 3 without much hope, also having loathed the 2nd part, but it does redeem itself and made me feel better about the whole thing. Give it one more go.

I'll give it a go, but only because you recommend to. I did wonder with the first episode whether they had really only had enough material for a one hour show.

I certainly think the story would have been better compressed. The timing seemed off, perhaps because there was no audience reaction.
