..or so it might seem from this article .. from vaccines to antidotes, there really seems to be quite a bit of stuff in the works to make things a bit easier for us celiacs in the future. I truly hope so, because, as the articles state, it's not just the pizza or the types of sweets and bread which you simply can't substitute with gluten free ( Read more... )

Dear friend it breaks my hear when I read it is so difficult with no gluten products. I'm so often thinking of you. As you maybe know my son neither may eat gluten.

We can in stores buy gluten free pizza bottoms and then put things on it yourself. But these bottoms are thicker as the Italian pizza from the pizza restaurant.

I'm a member in the Swedish celiac union. And I am also in the Coeliac blog on Facebook but this is in Swedish. I am not sick in this but I am a kind of support member.

And I'm also fighting for this.

When I made the Swedish Christmas dinner I had to be secure and read all the text when I bought the food.

But I could not find the German Schär no gluten bread crumbs in the stores. Fortunately we found another brand.

In restaurants on the Swedish Christmas table they have gluten bread crumbs in the small meat balls. :-(
Lennart was so happy I made gluten free meat balls on my own Christmas table.

My new years resolution will be to fight more for the Coeliac disease people.

Have a happy new year!
HUGS

Thank you dear! Yes, it is the small ingredients in the food which are often a problem, such as bread crumbs or starch. It would be so wonderful to be able sometimes just to go to a restaurant and eat what I want without having to think of bad consequences.. let's hope this will be possible soon, also for your son! Happy new year to you too!
