With the group, we were visiting the Island of Mainau in the Lake Constance, which is privately owned by a family of Counts (Bernadotte) who for ages has been cultivating every possible type of flowers on it and made a tourist attraction of it. It is a fairytale animal, mixture of fish and rabbit, traditional to this region!

The Bernadotte Family are also the ruling family of Sweden and have been since the Napoleonic Period winch of course is also when the this lot on Lake Constance got their property.

no, that was on Lake Constance, which is a bit more north and west than Lake Garda!
