..ho deciso di riciclare il mio vecchio LJ secondario, lisafutura per scrivere, occasionalmente, in italiano. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, and while Spanish isn't Italian, it's close enough that I was able to decipher a little bit...something about your other journal lisafutura going to be written in Italian, and something about "friends only".

quite well :) yes, I'm recycling that journal I more or less never used anyway and writing stuff in italian, regarding "local events" etc. I asked people who wanted to read it to tell me, because some entries might be friends only. :))

Well, I will have to make lisafutura a friend. I have never studied Italian, but grew up hearing it from the elders in my family (they are from Calabria). I also studied Spanish 10 years, Portuguese 2 and French 1, so I can read about 80% of it. I would like to formally learn it, but my next language lessons are German - I start night classes next week at the Goethe Institute.

Nel futuro ti visiterò e eserciterò nel mio italiano. Spero!

It is nearly perfect! the only error is "eserciterò IL mio italiano, not NEL. All the rest is totally ok!
