There is an important difference between fingerprints and values though.

Prints - except in crimes - leave no lasting impression. Values, on the other side, can change the course of a life.

I am who I am also because of people

I'm so very grateful you were put in a position to be guided so well so early on in life by that very wise teacher! I think she had such a strong influence on pointing you down a path that would allow you to become successful... your world might have been much more challenging without being on that more functional road.

I'm also so very grateful you found Frances, who in her own way, likely also changed the course of your life. You don't mention whether or not you stayed in contact, but I hope someday she knows what a difference she made for you. And, I'm sure, based on the life you've lived since, that you have made that same difference for so many others, multiple times over. Thank you sharing this! <3
