After a day and night of pure allergy hell today I am finally breathing a bit easier again, because at 3 am it started to rain. Nature and I are infinitely grateful. A few pictures from my Instagram post this morning :)

I'm all for keeping state-enforced restrictions and surveillance in check, but all the outrage at the loss of liberties...your liberties aren't going to be worth much if you're dead.
Exactly. But the whiners and protesters think they are not going to die, and probably they don't have parents or grandparents they love. I can't explain it otherwise.
And the earnestness of it... Italians just shout around and swear and throw stuff against the walls... Germans start bitter discussions about their rights being curtailed and this being the beginning of the end. So so tired of it....
Awwww...snail! Even if they do chomp on all the tender leaves. It has rained a lot last night and this morning here also and the air feels so much clearer form pollen. I love all your flowers and blooming things.
The one thing we don't hear whining about here is masks. But after yesterday, the crap we have been hearing people say about other "restrictions" is just insane. The government will be retracting our tiny bit of freedom really quickly if this continues.
The mask panic is going on here too and it blows my mind. People are freaking out because they can't figure out how to make a mask, despite the internet being full of tutorials. You don't even need to be able to sew! And people like me are offering to make washable masks for those who need them!
I do actually rely on lip-reading to a certain extent. Between the muffling and not being able to see full faces, it's inconvenient. I still find having to work harder to hear preferable to having to work harder to breathe.
Exactly. I have offered to make masks for people too, even if it takes me quite a bit of time to make a decent one. But they prefer to buy one of those for 10 Euro so they can continue to whine how they really can't afford it. And oh woe having to wash them every day! You'd think the world is ending...

I would think that being released from lockdown would be so happy-making that people would be okay with wearing masks. Morons.
