today started off with the xavier award awarding ceremony at the sports complex. since i was part of the XA committee, i had to be there to help supervise the whole ceremony. anyway, harold (wong) was supposed to be the emcee for the event but i ended up being the emcee because he was a few minutes late. i was so nervous because i hardly had time to read through the script before i went up the stage. in the end, the entire program went smoothly. some of the things we practiced yesterday were left out or changed but at least no major foul-ups happened. the awardees displayed presence of mind at all times. good job guys and congrats once again. :)

i had my last meeting with 7B this afternoon.
aw.
as much as we had our ups and downs, i will surely miss them. theirs is a very lively class, full of laughter and (more often than not) noise. still, they always managed to make me laugh even on my worst days.
i wasn't expecting them to have any special goodbye for me, so i was very touched when several of them approached me when the period ended and came to thank me and say whatever they wanted to say.
so, thanks 7B. thanks for all the memories. i hope you learned much from me as i have learned much from you. always do your best, remembering that everything you do should be for God's greater glory.
ok. stop. i'm getting teary-eyed now.
i'm really not good at goodbyes.
aw.
