Queen Victoria: You two are grounded for a week!
A lot is often made of Tooth and Claw, specifically the charge that the Doctor and Rose were very insensitive to what was happening around them. And, some say, that this only proves how Ten and Rose were bad for each other.
"I don't know what you are, the two of you, or where you're from, but I know that you consort with stars, and magic, and think it fun. But your world is steeped in terror and blasphemy and death and I will not allow it! You will leave this shores and you will reflect, I hope, on how you managed to stray so far from all that is good. And how much longer you will survive this terrible life." Queen Vic
"I love the Doctor and Rose's relationship in [Tooth and Claw] because they start to fall in love with each other again, as Rose begins to trust the new bloke, and I love the way that Russell pushes that so that they're almost enjoying themselves too much." ~ David Tennant
Is this criticism justified? Partly justified? Not at all? (Does Queen Victoria just have a stick up her bum?) Do you find the Doctor's actions/attitudes out of context compared to his past actions/attitudes? (New and/or Classic)
