I'm going to be headed out to Galveston next week, and if I'm lucky, I might get a gallery out there. I hope I do. Dallas is rather weird about allowing new artists in. They prefer for them to become established, and then come back to Dallas. Why? No idea, but it's been that way for years. *shrug*

Okay, I'll do that. I may run sketches by you, since I'm not a guy, and my ideas of what a guy would like might not be aesthetically pleasing. :)

Beautiful. Just absolutely, stunningly beautiful.

I have to ask: how do you come up with your ideas? And, once you have, do you go straight into the working or do you sketch things out first? I'm intrigued... this sort of craft is so far outside my range of experience that I'm fascinated to know how an artisan such as yourself operates.

How do I come up with my ideas...well, it's not so much a problem with finding them, as choosing which ones to execute. I sometimes have so many ideas, it feels a bit crowded in my head! I do a lot of sketching, not just to refine ideas, but to get them down on paper so I don't forget. I have a lot of ideas that come by for a couple of weeks, and then leave.
So much comes down to, what works in the head, doesn't always work on paper, and what works on paper doesn't always work in metal.

The god-eye pendant is incredible. The sun pendant is lovely. Not something I would wear, but I know lots of people who would.
