Anybody happen to have any particular affinity or Feel for Steve+C/N? (Not sure if it's to be C/N/S or not yet. Probably not? But you never know.) If so, would you be willing to eyeball something fic-ish for me? Mostly with an eye to characterization and whatall

I envy you your peaches! We still have a few weeks to go on ours up here. Nothing on our tree this year so we'll be buying them but I don't care. I want peaches!
Our apple trees are OVERABUNDANT so I'm living in fear of how much time me and my mom will spend putting up apples! But oh the goodness of warm apple pie while it snows outside! Can't beat that for anything!

OMG we have some of the best peaches - there's this one farm in particular. I wish I could send you some, they're to die for! I will sometimes make them into a pie (with or without blackberries or blueberries) but mostly I eat them raw or in cereal.

We've gotten peaches from a local farm here for two years now and they are, no lie, the best thing ever! I like to make peach jam WITH GINGER in it which totally makes it better than just any ol' peach jam. I'd never really thought of putting berries in the pie. We're purists in this household but I may have to give that a try this year!
You know another really cool way to put peaches up... if you have the freezer space? I make a simple syrup and then slice peaches up, pack them into a container, pour the simple syrup over it and VOILA! Fabulous peach ices, if you will. I eat it from the freezer, scraping through the slush... usually with mittens on... all winter long!
