I got to here, and then I had to spend some time digging up the rest of it at the meme! This is such an interesting premise and you built on it really well! I love your Mary and your Irene and your Mrs. Hudson. They seem the most developed characters in this. A very lovely read!
I admire your dedication! I thought no one was reading it, so I got lazy on the updates and well...never updated it :)
I'll admit I did leave Holmes very vague -- I think some of it was because I was trying to follow canon (in which Holmes wanders in and out of 221B, Watson naps and eats and Mrs. Hudson cooks), but add a little more spunk. If I had more druthers, I'd probably have written the original idea in my head in which Holmes is asexual, the marriage is for protection and Mary and Holmes become great friends.
And in the end, similar to the Ritchie!Movies, she falls in love and marries someone else after Holmes (grudgingly) divorces her and retires to Sussex.
But I never did. People liked the Mary/Holmes pairing more. Eh, maybe someday. When I'm not knitting like mad for presents.

I'm debating about just slamming it up on AO3, but I don't know for sure.
