[After careful consideration, Ed's decided to skip this class. Meaning he didn't feel like going. He wanders aimlessly for a while before sitting down in the grass by the track field. He's thinking about taking out his cards when he sees Leslie.]

[Leslie had been trying to read this page for the fifth time she just couldn't concentrate on the book. She looks up at the voice.]

Oh hey! I remember you!

Yeah, we talked about that cotillion the other day, right?

[Stretches back lazily.] What are you reading?

Yeah. Sabotage I believe was the answer.

[Tosses the book on the ground between them so the cover faces up displaying The Handmaid's Tale.]

It's for English. Why aren't you in class?

[Sally hated biology, and when she asked to go to the bathroom in the middle of class, she was pretty sure Mr. Dreiburg realized she wouldn't be back. She wanders outside, since it was way too nice to be stuck inside.

She spots a redhead in the distance, down by the track field, and upon closer inspection recognizes that it's Leslie. She hadn't known she was back at school, since Leslie hadn't been in any classes, so Sally decides to go say hello.]

Hey, Leslie. You're back, huh?

[Leslie looks up and shields her eyes from the sun.]

Hey Sal! I suppose you could say that. Didn't I see you go to Bio earlier?

[Leslie pats the ground beside her.]

[Grinningly imposing upon her hospitality, running up behind Sally:] Thanks darling, I think I will. [He flops onto the grass beside Leslie.] Men! Well, boys. Boys! They're difficult. And I need your help.

[Leslie sees Adrian emerge from the blinding sun and bites her lip and looks down.]

Hey babe, that's what I hear.

[Leslie plays witha blade of grass and refuses to look back up at Adrian.]

Everyone has problems, what are yours today?

[Ursula walks up and tips her head at the growing crowd of people on the track field. She approaches and flops down between Adrian and Sally.]

Is this a private party, or can anyone join?

Oh, it's a very exclusive party. [grins and tilts her head to the side] But, lucky you - you're on the guest list.
