Gamer Badges

I kinda got inspired by exp_err's link to the Order of the Science Scouts of Exemplary Repute and Above Average Physique and the various badges that you could wear.

I was wondering what badges there should be for Gamers - boardgamers, cardgamers, wargammers and roleplaying gamers especially.

Does anyone have any suggestions?I'll put up a few of the ones ( Read more... )

Yeah, but the science ones are generally for cool stuff.

True. You could have some somewhat cool and geeky gamer ones possibly... the "Allnighter" badge, or the "I'm on first name basis with a designer" badge :)
The "Tryptich" badge, or the "Xole once asked to play in my game" badge :)

Less local:
SNG: "I am known at my local cons."
MNG: "I am known at interstate cons."
BNG: "People talk about me even at the few cons I dont attend."

"I'm invited to run games at cons."
"I run a regular series of con games."
"There are people who don't come to cons if I'm not running games."

"I have a gaming award named after me."
"I have a perpetual gaming trophy named after me."

"I've written gaming material for beer money."
"I'm regularly paid money for writing games."
"I'm regularly paid a lot of money for writing games." (This one is kinda relative.)

"People tell me anecdotes for games they don't know I wrote." (This happened to me.)

LARPing:
"I dress up for games."
"I have special outfits for different characters."
"I make new outfits for every game."

Hmm, others I could do -

The Lemming Gamer (the player most likely to follow others into death and destruction)
The Red Shirt Gamer (most likely to go through more than one character in the same session)
