So this morning I'm taking a boatload of cupcakes to my boyfriend's sister's, and I thought "I wish I had an easier way to transport these things." Thanks to Jenna Fisher from "The Office" I noticed she had this little device on her MySpace:

I love love love mine! I have both the CC and Wilton's "Ultimate" and the CC wins out easily.

The nice thing about is that you don't have to use all the trays and it carries a stacked cake nicely too. The locks are strong and secure. The Wilton's only holds a dozen cupcakes and isn't tall enough for a torted cake! What's the use in that?

The only downside to the Courier is that it's pretty big/tall. So if you are short on storage it sucks in that way....but everytime I've brought it to work all the ladies (and dads!) rave over the courier! Well worth it, Target carries it as well, I bought mine in pink.

Oooh, good to know about taking out some of the trays. I was wondering about that because sometimes I don't make a whole lot, but I make more than one or two Ziploc containers... which always seem to topple.

I'm glad to hear someone else loves theirs!

Is there a lot of room for icing between the layers? I've thought about ordering one from Target, but I don't want to pay shipping on it because I didn't know how much room there was.

Yes, I did a two layer torted cake (three layers of filling) and had plenty of room for even bigger if I needed. I don't know how well it'd hold a small STACKED layer cake but it may just.

And there is plenty of room between the cupcake trays for tall decorations too for those who love piles of frosting :).

I have 2, and I love both of them. They are great for parties, so much easier for transport.

I have one similar to this, and it's just like you put another tray on top of the cupcake baking pan and you close it up.
The only thing that I don't like about this, is that they get real stuffy and moist in there.

It looks like each tray sort of locks onto the other one... do those hold up well?
