So my only response to "Dumbledore's gay" is, "Oh, so that's why McGonagall's rampaging schoolgirl crush on him never got anywhere."

Oddly enough, the same thing popped into my head. "Ah. So *that's* why. Huh." And then of course my next thought was "Gee, now the Christians have something else to bitch about." And further down the article Rowling said the same thing, and it made me smile. I like that woman.

She certainly has her moments. *G* Since there's absolutely nothing she could do that might appease the crazy Christians, except perhaps denounce her own work and then spontaneously combust, she might as well enjoy tweaking their collective nose.
