A Little Thing You Can Do

Still on news blackout. Because everything I see ruins my sleep.

For all I know, this is doomed to failure.  But at least it's taking a stand.  I'm calling congress and  senators up and down. It's that or jumping in front of a subway.

Thanks. It's been really hard. A lot of times I just want to die.

I have become 1000x more of an activist than I was before. Not a day goes by now that I don't make a phone call (which is a source of social anxiety for me, but I'm pushing myself) or sign a petition or send a letter.

I'm going to DC (from Indiana) in January for the Women's March too.

I'm still having trouble sleeping over this, but doing something helps.

Taking the stand is the important thing, and hopefully the Electoral College will come to its senses with enough pushback from the electorate.

Signed the petition 260,000 people ago. It's a longshot but WTH, what else can we do?

With every day my mood gets gloomier. Trump is behaving the way I feared, less presidential and more like an heir apparent. All that gilt in Trump Tower has gone to his head. My hopes are that his conflicts of interest will lead to an impeachment and indictment.
