In reference to book burning

Can I file a suit against them claiming that bigotry and intolerance damage my mental and emotional well-being?

Another thought: what if we all pooled our money - or actually went out and raised some - and bought some "objectionable books" for this library. Pick anything on the Banned Books list, or your favorite YA book and let's get a whole box together and send it.

If we want to do this, we really should contact the library first... but dang, I'm aghast that there's still this stupidity going on - and if I can do something to fight it - like put more good books on those shelves - then I will.

As a sane resident of the state of Wisconsin, I'd like to apologize for these morons. While I know that no one reading your LJ would think they speak for the rest of us, I'd still like to empasis that fact!
