Of course I'm being sarcastic. Monday, and this may  be more info than you want, I had about a foot of my colon removed. No more Diverticulitis, presumably. I'm in a metric ton of pain, and this morning has sucked for a variety of reasons, mostly due to the prospect of my Victoria having to go back to Manhattan today to teach her students, and

HOLY CRAP I am glad you are doing better now. God, you could DIE from that!!! I am a little angry that I had no idea this was going on.

I was never in any real danger. lots of people have the condition and never really know it, though most that do don't need surgery.

I am slightly mollified. My aunt had a really bad case and really did nearly kick the bucket, so when I hear about diverticulitis surgery my mind immediately assumes the worst.
