Is it strange to be able to connect with people that are almost strangers, when you can't open up to your sister? It's like my sister wants to know whats going on in my life and she looks at me with knowledge of my past and these open, guilless, honest, caring eyes..and I feel like I'm going to break something if I open up and tell her everything. no, tis not strange at all. I do it all the time. closeness doesn't require agonizing honesty - sometimes lying is required, or at the least, selective omission. normal is boring, and to ask questions is a direct effect of having a soul.

...eh, my sister and I have that interesting closeness that enables us to just sit together in a room, not say anything more than the standard grunts and clicks, and have a deep, meaningful conversation that way...kinda weirds out my brother-in-law, really...
