Good afternoon, Mayfield. Would you like to listen to a record I found? Surely we could use something to take our minds off of the last few days.

... Johnson.

[The Doctor repeats that name. Then... his information was wrong. Until now, he believed that Zemeckis may have been the greatest enemy. But if Lucy Smith and Zemeckis were one, then what she said before puts doubt on that claim. There may be more to this than he believed. Much more inner conflict. But this time, the Doctor doesn't believe that this would work to his benefit. He has yet to see, after all, the true man responsible for bringing everybody to Mayfield.

... Well. Either way, "Johnson" seems to be a good name to bear in mind. And he'll be looking out for his relationship with all the other administrators of Mayfield.]

It seems... that we've learned a little more about our fair town.

If what it says is not false.

But it's interesting either way, don't you think?

[Yeah, she really just wants to hear the reactions people will have. Of course, solving the mystery behind Mayfield is an interesting puzzle as well, but even once she does solve it--and she's sure she will--she'll wait until all the entertainment is wrung out of it to leave.]

Indeed, indeed! Whether it's a truth or lie, my, the plot has thickened regardless.

... But where did you find this? It's difficult to think that Armageddon decimated all but that one record.

The mayor's office was not destroyed--and while he did attempt to eliminate things, judging by the state of the office, he either missed this or we were intended to see it.

[Mr. Johnson?]

What is this?

A record I acquired at the mayor's office.

His note said he destroyed everything.

He missed one thing.

I suppose I simply got there first.

[.....well, then.]

Where did you find this?

The mayor's office.

How did you...never mind.

I wonder who this "Mr. Johnson" is.

One would assume the Game Master, if this is correct.

Unless his game board has been overtaken by someone else.

.....Mr. Johnson.

Well I suppose we have more names now.

... "Mr. Johnson"? That was a rather conspicuous cut off there. ... The Mayor was talking to a John just before that crap though... "John Zem-" then?

It's got to be "Zemekis", right? We've heard that name being thrown around before...

Correct. You have good ears.

sosnarrator November 29 2011, 20:11:03 UTC
So, assuming that what's said on this is true, that pretty much confirms that Zemekis is the one behind all this... And he was... taking the form of Lucy Smith now, if I recall correctly.

(... Man, am I glad that I had Nagato around to fill me in on stuff when she was still around. I'd never have kept track up to this point without her.)

Assuming this is true, indeed. But this was something we already knew.

I wonder who Annie is? Maybe their name was spoken before I arrived.
