'Moony' Had gone to the library to both clean up after the shake, and to try yet again to find out how to make a potion of wolfsbane. He had also studied the people he met, to figure out how to dress, so today he was wearing jeans and a dark shirt. And matching socks this time. The magic of this place reminded him very much about Hogwarts, and it was with a half expectancy he stepped into the Library, glancing about. He would have not been surprised had he found miss Granger fuzzing over a book. What he was surprised over however, was to find a blanked covered man lying there.
"Sir, are you quite well?" he asked, tilting his head. While his clothes looked normal now, Remus had a very heavy tiredness hanging on him. like a person who was much ill.
"OH--!" Basil startled, holding up a cushion as a meager means of intended self-defense. When he saw the thin, worn-looking man who had spoken, he lowered it slightly. After the business with Alexei, he wasn't willing to let appearances deceive him.
"Oh, I'm just a bit ill." He said quietly. "F-forgive me, I know it is rude but you must excuse me if I do not stand." He explained. "A-and it's nothing catching, you don't need to worry about catching it." He said, with a small, fragile smile.
"Ah! Do not think of it. If you are ill you should rightfully rest. My name is Remus Lupin. Is there anything I can get you?" he asked politely, looking at the man with curious, but gentle eyes as he too began clearing books from the floor and tables. "Might I ask what is the matter?"
"Severe nervous exhaustion." Basil explained uncomfortably. "But I'm alright. I've got a pot of tea I've not got halfway through." He assures the man, who looks not in much better condition than himself. "A-and I'm Basil Hallward." He added hastily, embarrassed at his failings to obey social convention, though he could hardly help himself, the way his thoughts were so jumbled and his heart raced along at breakneck speed.
