Sawyer walked in the room and looked at the pilot. Sure, the guy was screaming, but Sawyer didn't flinch, if it wasn't for the fact that the guy was one of the pilots, then Sawyer would've cared some.

"Easy there, killer." Sawyer moved to the side of the bed. "Maybe this is punishment for what you've done, ever think of that?" Sawyer just looked down at the guy with a hard look upon his face.

Reid frowned in consternation. Isaack had lost his memories? How..? For now, he put it to the back of his mind; there were more important things going on.

He backed away from the pilot, hands up as if to show that they were no longer holding him down. "Sorry, sorry. You went.. kind of crazy there."

He glanced up at Sawyer. "'Fight us?' What were you planning on doing with him?" It occurred to Reid that some people in the castle might not be too happy with one of the agents of their capture. He wasn't too happy himself, to be honest, but there was no proof that the pilot was guilty of anything but doing his job, ignorant of the consequences.

"Step back." Isaack growled at Sawyer with a aggressive look, before turning back to Reid and the pilot. There was something about sawyer that made his hair stand on an end. He could not remember the time him and Sawyer as a demon had spent in the future, or when Sawyer and one of his friends had shot and killed Isaack. but something made him edgy.

"Okay, you are bleeding internally through your leg. We have to find some way to stop it, or your own blood will end up killing you." he said softly. "It is very important that you lay still so I can check you out, okay?" He was not even quite sure what he was talking about, but it seemed to come out of him without him thinking, so he assumed it was something he knew.

"Hey, hey, everyone back off, okay?" he croaked, looking back and forth between the men pelting him with questions and demands, "Give me some room to breathe." As if to underscore his words, his raspy breathing gave way to pained coughing, which had the man doubling over in pain for a few moments.

He looked down at his leg, seriously, for the first time, and as his face paled, it was plain that the gravity of his injury was sinking in for the first time. He looked back at Isaack, his eyes filled with profound worry. "Uh... are you a doctor? Is that what this place is?" He glanced about, uncertainly, "A hospital?"

"Hey now, Mr. Goody, was just tryin' to protect myself. He's the one that started going after me, who were we holdin' back?" Sawyer paused for a moment and just eyed Reid. "Was just planning on askin' him some questions and all of a sudden he attacked."

"Oh, and great!" Sawyer threw his hands up, "so it's ok for Dracula here to get close and take a look at him, but not me."

Sawyer stepped back and looked at the pilot. "Yeah, something like that." He moved closer to Isaack then he would have liked to and whispered, "better hurry if you're gonna check him out, ain't gonna wait round long enough for him to die to find out what we need to find out."

Reid raised a mental eyebrow at Sawyer's assurance that he just wanted to 'ask some questions', but stayed silent on the matter for now.

"We're not in a hospital," he commented flatly, sending a sidelong glance at Sawyer. "Though Isaack here is a doctor." Reid's eyes focused on the pilot again. "Does that mean you don't remember..? You were a pilot," he prompted. Busy talking to the pilot, Reid missed Sawyer's words to Isaack.

Isaack growled at Sawyer for the 'Dracula' comment. "Charming." he said, leaning to the pilot. "I will try my best to save you." he said, beginning to work on the leg. "But we might go to drastic steps to save you. Your leg will never function again. I have no x-ray and I cannot operate on you here, and it seems we cannot take you to the hospital. Only solution I can see, is removing it." he said, with his eyes serious.

He reached out a cold hand to try to feel his temperature, frowning a bit. "You were a pilot?" he could not remember how he had gotten to this place, thus did not remember the pilot at all.

The pilot was plainly having a tough time keeping up with the buzz of words and activity around him; his attention seemed to come and go, his eyes going in and out of focus as he attempted to keep up with what was being said.

To Reid, he replied, hoarsely, "Of course I remember. Why wouldn't I? I just never thought to ... I never thought to ask what this place was." He seemed to falter, as though the absurdity of this fact were only now dawning upon him. "Why didn't I..." he trailed off, as Isaack began to speak.

The prospect of the loss of his leg seemed to focus his attention as his eyes went wide. "Woah, woah! Hold on, I think I want another doctor! I..." his eyes glanced around the room, looking for help, and taking in the run-down, mouldering quality of the facility with increasing distress. "You can't be serious!"

"Right," Sawyer rolled his eyes. "So you just take some job delivering people to some far off castle and don't ask anything?" Sawyer could hardly believe what this guy was saying. "Doesn't at all seem a bit fucked up when you're pickin' up someone from another time or world?"

Sawyer listened to the exchange between Isaack and the pilot. He really wouldn't mind seeing the pilot suffer a bit in the hands of Isaack.

"Does it look like there's another Doc round here?"

Reid paled at Isaack's statement. Sure he dealt with blood and bodies on a regular basis, but he didn't get a doctorate in medicine for a reason.

"It's okay," he tried to reassure the pilot, looking a bit sick himself. "Isaack's a great doctor. He's, um, had lots of time to practice." In all honesty, Reid had no idea how good a doctor Isaack was, but he was all they had at the moment.

He turned his attention to Isaack. "I'll do what I can to help," Reid said, looking determined. "What do you need?" For once, he wished that he'd kept the Dilaudid instead of giving it to Tony - he had a feeling the pilot was going to be wishing he had it.

"I am sorry, but if you wish to live, that is what we have to do." he said sternly, blue eyes wide. "I need any sort of painkiller you can find. Tranquillisers, pills, anything. I don't think we have proper medicine, but if you can find chloroform, that would be grand. If none of the above, then Lot and lots of alcohol. We also need a fire up. I don't have any proper sowing equipment so I would have to burn it shut to stop the bleeding. I also need warm water and bandages."

He looked very grave."I'm sorry."

"Listen!" He shouted, his eyes wild, his voice constricted both from smoke inhalation and from panic, "No, listen! Listen to me! You've got to call my bosses. They'll send another helicopter, pick me up, right? This has got to be..." he stammered, uncertainly, his eyes darting around between the three of them, "We can work something out! Maybe... maybe you three could come with me? Right? You want to get out of here? Right? I'm sure we can work something out!" He smiled a desperate, disingenuous smile, looking for some support from one of them, any of them.

"Well now, that would be grand and all, but your bosses didn't leave any way to contact them. Don't you think we would've tried sticking up a bargain with them already if we could." Sawyer was all about making deals and that would have been one of his first ideas if they actually had a way to do that.

"Shouldn't you know that? You're the one that brings us here. You just drop us off and leave us with nothing." There was a certain fire burning within Sawyer's eyes.

"Got a bunch of alcohol back at my place," Sawyer turned his attention to Isaack. "Bet we can find some of the other stuff here, otherwise I've got some pills."

Reid's heart leaped into his mouth in a strange combination of hope and dread. Could it be possible? A way to get home, after all this time? But... He thought of Morgana. Could she come with him? Would she?

Worry about it later, he told himself. Right now they had to deal with the pilot.

"Did the helicopter have a radio, or something, we could use?" He asked the men. Reid swallowed, and turned his gaze to Isaack. "Do we have... time for that?" The pilot seemed pretty awake and cognizant, but Reid didn't know how bad the injury was; it was possible he could die before anyone had a chance to pick him up, even if the radio worked.

"There was a radio that I saw for a second as I went in to help. Problem is that the helicopter is dust now. And he cannot travel to the future. The longer we wait, the less time he have to live." Isaack scoffed.

"Please, you can't..." He begged, his voice weak and pleading, as tears began to roll down his cheeks in earnest, "I'll do anything. Whatever you want, just please... You can't take... can't take..." He choked on the words, unable even to vocalize the idea of losing his leg.

His concerns, though, were the least of his problems. It was becoming plain that his grasp on consciousness and perhaps upon life were becoming ever more tenuous as he became visibly paler and weaker by the moment. If anything was to be done for him, it would need to be done soon.
