So, I've been reading SPN fanfic like a mad thing again. Mostly because our recent theological readings and debates in Great Con have inspired me back into that pit of madness. Which is totally okay, because I am totally an angel whore, and if it didn't make me fear hellfire and damnation, I would join in the frothing at the literary mouth

Seriously, though. We read Julian of Norwich, and she's talking about all of these revelations of God, and I seriously wondered how anyone knew what God sounded like before there was Morgan Freeman. And I'm pretty sure God was in the Cincinnati Botanical Gardens. Not her rafters.
