GO IANTO!

It's about time someone put the Doctor in his place! the Doctor telling Jack he is wrong was one of the most horrible things ever on Doctor Who. Jack didn't ask to be immortal, it was done to him without his knowledge or consent, yet the Doctor acted like it was Jack's fault and he should be punished for it.

Ianto is so brave and heroic, standing up to the Doctor! I'm sure Jack will show how grateful he is later =)

The way way 10 treated Jack is one of the few things I disliked about him. And Jack just seemed to take it, I never liked that either. I'm sure Jack will come up with a way to show his gratitude. 8D

Although I've seen most of Jack's eps with the Doctor, the ones with the 10th Doctor have really turned me off about the Doctor in many ways and Ianto hit all the right buttons with what I often felt was so wrong with him in how he treated Jack. It wasn't Jack's fault that he became immortal and the Doctor simply won't acknowledge that it was his fault. Recently BBCA showed those eps starting with Utopia and ending with New New Earth and I just haven't been able to bring myself to watch the ones with the Master but damn, if Ianto didn't do and say what I felt should have happened to the Doctor after Jack came home from that year. Ianto handled it beautifully and the punchout was perfect. Jack turning the Doctor down was simply the icing on the cake.

Thanks for a wonderful short story on what SHOULD have happened with the 10th Doctor.
