So I went to the ASP show yesterday and I'm glad I did...I was a bit apprehensive about having to go by myself (yeah, I know I'm a dork)...watched the show, which was awesome and got to hang out with some people that I haven't seen in ages...I'm starting to realize that my social anxiety is pretty unfounded and gets in the way of my having a good ( Read more... )

Going to a show alone is rough. There are so many moments in the theatre experience that there's nothing else to do but talk to the person I'm there with. If there isn't anybody, it's usually just me reading the program 50 times in a row and counting how many lights they had to hang from the ceiling to make the show work.

I hear that...I think I memorized the program...plus there were moments where I would want to lean over and make a witty remark about what was going on onstage to the person I'm there with...but alas, there's no doing that when you're there alone...oh well!
