I wish you were participating too, however; I'm late at getting sign-ups for period_rumble up (working on the banner right now), but the first challenge there will be Game of Thrones and the entire round has a Medieval theme so there will be a Merlin challenge at some point. :)

I joined the community and I think I will sign up for that round. I love medieval, custom set movies and series, they have a certain magical mood! :)

Very pretty indeed, but very adult in nature. LOL! I have the rest of it on DVR and will get through the last 5 episodes later this week.

BTW: Did you know that I actually know the author the books? Yup I've spoken to Martin on numerous occasions and *just* realized this when I saw a picture of him. He's a frequent fixture at medieval lectures at UNM (and yes knows me by name although I haven't attended the lecture series the past 2 years for personal reasons). That was my duh moment!

Yeah that's why I haven't bothered, sigh. That, and I'm not at all fond of fantasy; it just bugs me somehow.

Whoa, seriously? That'll probably end up making you like, goddess status in certain circles, LOLOL!

I can't even watch True Blood with my sister in the room (she's old enough) without me wanting to cover her eyes! That's why I watch Game of Thrones when no one is home. LOL! Ah I don't think it has too much of a fantasy appeal though...some elements go hand in hand with the middle ages (dragons!) and I always remind people that Beowulf is early Middle Ages so when you get something like this to me, it just goes hand in hand in some format. You know?

I know right? LOL! Although I doubt he'll be signing stuff at the lectures now unless someone pulls him aside secretly!

More than likely Challenge 11 will be no more skips allowed. I think you are the only the only one left with skips. In any case if you've signed up for period_rumble-the first challenge there will be Game of Thrones related.
