So my fream cosplay has gone out the window, because the resources are too expensive, PLUS I was able to talk my friends into cosplaying Borderlands with me =D I thought this would be super easy, but I am haunted by this stupid green hoodie. What raver_neko said, plus look for local(or online) army surplus stores. I sincerely doubt you'll find a vest just like that, but you can probably find something you can modify, and I think the costume will definitely need the vest to get the right look/be recognizable.

If you can't find the sweatshirt with short sleeves, you can always get a longsleeved one and hem the sleeves.
