Longest. Hiatus. Ever.

I hate that I haven't been able to get to this until now. But VM is back! Yay! Yes, I'm still happy about it. This felt like the longest hiatus ever, and the way I see it, some VM is better than none at all. But first, a couple questions about Heroes:

It was also a little weird to see her accepting a drink from Dick, considering that's not normally something she would ever do. She must have reeeally needed it.See, I had no problem with this for several reasons. First, it was a funny scene depicting how stressed Veronica was about the party. Stressed enough to drink from Dick's flask. But that didn't stop her from wiping off his germs. I certainly didn't think it would be a concern because Dick drank from it first and she took it from him, he never actually offered. it ( ... )

As for the chances of renewal. I certainly think they are much improved now that GG is not coming back. Several insider sources are even suggesting VM now has a good chance of returning next season.
Really? Well, that sounds encouraging. I hope so.

I actually almost got arrested for underage drinking when I was 19. Instead of being arrested, I had to go stand before the judge in court, pay a 300 dollar fine, attend a lecture about the dangers of underage drinking and alcoholism, and do community service. I thought it was about the stupidest crap ever. I was NINETEEN. Omg, I could vote, I could drive, and I lived ON MY OWN in my own apartment, but I couldn't legally drink. Stupidest-shit-evar.

Yeah, so that particular MOTW was completely lost on me. No way that guy who stumbled into traffic couldn't have easily been 21 or 30 or 40. Drinking to excess = bad. It doesn't matter what age you are, and of course being 21 doesn't make you magically more responsible than being 19.

-end rant-

Yeah some people had issue with Veronica taking a drink from Dick, but I kinda don't see the big deal since she saw him take a swig out of it himself.

That's what I was trying to say, yeah. And the bartender should have known when to cut him off. Here, you can be liable if a person got hurt because you served them too many drinks. Sorry you had to go through all that. It sounds a little excessively harsh.

It wasn't as bad as it could have been. It was considered a lesser misdemeanor and was erased from my record after 7 years. I just find the law particularly ridiculous now as I did then. I was definitely agreeing with the point you made.

I don't want to nitpick the normally great continuity, but could we get something straight? Veronica never took away anyone's pirate points. Duncan simply made it so they'd be available for more activities. Veronica had nothing to do with that.THANK YOU ( ... )

he seemed to know all about the purity test, which, if I'm not completely insane, was the following ep.
The election/pirate points story was in episode 6. The purity test was in episode 8. So you're close. :)

Again, I love you, because how many people have been so irrational about all the crap he put up with from Veronica, complaining that his balls were gone? Yes, different situations, but in this case it sticks out like a sore thumb. At least with Veronica it's been this epic on/off thing for 2 and half years... Parker is two MONTHS. He should not be that whipped already.
Aww, thanks. :) With Veronica and Logan, it's somewhat acceptable since they have a history, but it's strange that it's happened that quickly with Parker, whom he hardly even knows by comparison. So you think it's been two months? I was thinking two weeks. I don't know, the timelines confuse me sometimes. But that makes more sense.
