I'm going to hate myself for this probably.

I shamelessly stole this meme from jedi_of_urth.

Name three fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return, I will attempt to write a snippet of one of them.

For the sake of my sanity, I reserve the right to veto things that will utterly break my brain if I try to write them. There aren't many, but they exist.

Can't say I blame you. o_O I can hardly read fics that break my brain, but sometimes it is like that car wreck you can't look away from. But writing it myself, going to such a dark place in the mind... I'm far too fond of fluff and humour for that (and there were several years in my youth that had enough RL drama to make me realise why I probably need wish fulfillment).

I'm usually not such an angst fan myself, but the GoT fandom has wrung TWO incredibly depressing fics out of my poor soul in the past two months... one where the goal was to kill one of my favorite characters, and another where the goal was to kill FOUR of them.

Why do I do this to myself??? I don't know.

So... anything fluffy you think I'd never write? ;-)

I saw this. I giggled. It's going to happen. Maybe not tonight, maybe not until this weekend... but I have ideas.

Finally getting to this... only a snippet, but I hope it's fun. corrielle September 10 2012, 04:48:29 UTC
It was the third Wednesday of since Andrew, James, and Sparrow had washed up together on the island (James had kept careful count, and so it WAS Wednesday) when Andrew came upon him and put a hand on his shoulder while he sat on the the end of a long spit of beach. It was James' hour to stand as lookout for sails on the horizon, and he did so faithfully ( ... )

I don't know if I'd like to read something you wouldn't like to write. *g* So, let's try like this: 1. Cotton's parrot/the Kraken; 2. modern AU Blackbeard/Angelica; 3. Elizabeth/Mrs.Ching/Calypso (as a swarm of crabs). Now you're supposed to say "No way!!!", and I'm replying "OK, know my good heart, here you have another set, and no refusing this time!" Deal? ;)

1. Anamaria and Jack have an argument about preponderance of the Pearl over the Jolly Mon. Or the other way. And Groves is asked for the arbitration. (Possible variant: who's the better pirate? Or both in one fic.)

2. There's not many things which can shock Jack Sparrow. Commodore Norrington managed.

3. Having the pirate locked safely in the jail, Norrington is curious about the compass, just when his sword was left for a moment in Groves' care... And Jack? Jack stole a feather from the pretty Commodorial hat.

I think I almost died laughing at parrot/Kraken.

I love that second set.. the question is... which to CHOOSE? Whichever hits me when I go to write these this weekend...

Gillizaeth.

Sounds like a monster Godzilla would defeat...but it's just Gillette/Elizabeth. :)

I promised a snippet... and that's all this is. There's really no resolution. When I ship Andrew/Liz, I have a headcanon that they duck into empty rooms and make out when no one's paying attention, both of them vociferously denying that it means anything at all. So... This is some of that ( ... )

Ei, that's good. And the rest too.

She'll have written on her tombstone 'Fed to Joyful Molly's cats and she had it coming'

"You? Silent? You wouldn't last the night."
Sounds like a bet. :)

Ehhh, what the hell:

1) Lindsay Bluth and Cersei Lannister swap bodies.

2) A marauding Theon Greyjoy happens upon the Black Pearl.

3) Twilight Sparkle gets her Hogwart's admission letter.
