Dostoyevsky is amazing.

He is, isn't he? If so very, very depressing at times. But that's Russian literature for you. It's like someone playing the world's saddest song on the world's smallest violin. And yet amazing with it.

What do you like best, then? I'm a fan of Notes from the Underground, personally.

I really like that one, but I think that Writer's Diary is probably my favourite. It's got a nice variety of stuff, and it's all just fantastic.

There is no subject so old that something new cannot be said about it is one of the best quotations ever.

It works so very well. It's one of those rare, universal truths. Which suits us brilliantly.

We have a problem. I have no idea how to cure culture overdose.

OH NO! Were you ill that day, or something? Can I suggest throwing them a copy of a tabloid and as much greasy British food as you can muster?

I could do that. Or maybe send them to America. That's a surefire cure.

That'd be cruel and unusual treatment, though. It'd be the equivalent of sticking a leech on them.
