And if it was completely automatic and you don't remember what it was, I believe there's a way to check what the latest updates you've installed are on the Windows Update web page.
yeah. out there on the update page you can show what ones were installed by what date I believe. I have mine set to always ask me about it. Cause I don't want some of them. ARR.
Yeah. I have mine set to download them, but not to install without my express permission. Trouble is, I never know if it's something I need or not, so I end up caving and installing them after a few days of the annoying popup in my taskbar telling me I have new Windows Updates to install and that the world will end if I don't. Stupid Microsoft.
It's neat how little kids respond to puppets. I saw a really good documentary history of Sesame Street a few years ago that had a segment about Elmo. The Elmo puppet and voice is done by a black guy, which is a little unexpected I think. Jarring at first, but later it seemed cute. Anyway, there were scenes of him doing Elmo for kids without being screened at all. That is-- a kid focused on the Elmo puppet with his arm and body attached right behind being totally ignored. It was a remarkable demonstration not only of the power of puppets in general, but also of the particular resonance of Elmo.
