I usually don't read such things become dom/sub isn't my kink, but something about your summary caught my interest. I loved the fact that it wasn't just something to get off of...but instead, something Sam NEEDED, to survive, to be who he is. That's what made this a great story and completely refreshing from the other sub stories out there. I would like to rec this for approval at a rec community, but I have to make sure that it is considered a new story. I'm slightly confused that the masterpost says it's 2012, but the part are posted for 2010. I'm assuming this is a new story considering it was written for a Big Bang going on right now? If you could clear that up for me, I would greatly appreciate it so I can start praising this story. :) Thank you so much!

Aw, thanks! The story is entirely new and never posted before, I just mucked the dates around trying to make each chapter appear in order. I'm glad you enjoyed it! To me, Sam's psychology was the interesting part to write so I'm happy somebody found that interesting :) And gosh, any reccing would be greatly appreciated!

I greatly enjoyed this. A rescue that isn't known to be a rescue. Comfort in the absence of choice. Psychological concepts that are both puzzling and fascinating at the same time, such as bypassing the mind to get directly to the body's response. For key elements, I have to give huge kudos for the turning point of the submissive. Truly well written and responsibly thought out. (Big thing for me - I despise irresponsible kink.)

Whoops, no, not yet. I'm new to LJ so I don't really know what the demand is for .pdfs - my artist is much more savvy than I! If I produce one, I'll be sure to let you know. But we can all enjoy looking at the art in the meantime :)
