And the second case I pick up in my new patch becomes a CYF notification, that chews up 3 hours and several trees, and which CYF, ultimately, is not interested in.
Moved stuff up from Tauranga yesterday, which is where I was storing all the stuff I didn't sell before we left. Of note, I was pretty sure I'd sold the dining suite, but not the heater or bookshelf, so on trademe I have bought a dinging suite, but not a heater or bookshelf. Turns out that the opposite was true. *grumble

Lucifer (aka the criminal - seriously - bitch we call a landlady) has backed out on our final inspection today. So now we have to do it tomorrow morning.
My mum calls on Sat, and informs me that my immediate presence is required in Chch for the weekend of 12/6 for a family reunion. So I'm flying there for the weekend, and then back here for one more week of work. WTF

Regardless of which, it was fun. I did my little 90's shuffle, drank lots of bacardi, watched the kids (we had no less than 3 20-year olds) throw up and pass out by midnight, drank more bacardi and eventually crashed at 7am.
As a result of all this, I am currently feeling somewhat geriatric.
