So, there will never be a monday or tuesday in my life that i will be in highschool. Interesting.

Everything is starting to feel so final. And I don't want it to be. I don't want to feel as old as i do now. And I'll come right out and say it.

People I know will become people I knew.

And yet:

so insane that it's back again. just wow.

i can see the summer sun burn in the eyes of my peers:

flames leaping up into the cool blue sky.

everyone in for life at it's peak.

I saw the figure 5
in gold
on a red
firetruck
moving
tense
unheeded
to gong clangs
siren howls
and wheels rumbling
through the dark city.

I know a guy who lives just for the weekends, he says he's tired a lot. He says it should be five days of weekend instead of five days of work. I remind him we get old and retire, too old to do anything but golf. well... it's been a while.

it's finally may, which means school ending is more a reality than a distant future.

Anyhow, life has been more or less what i'd expect it to be. Of course that could always improve- but it could be way worse so i'm not going to complain.
