Yah, I noticed those too; not-so-subliminal.

I dig the unabashed idealism of some of these, despite the underlying misogyny; form-fitting clothing, robot slaves, etc. Since a lot of the technology sci-fi predicted has come to pass, it's kid of relief to know there's always the more ridiculous and absurd ideas to generate new stories from.
