Commission Page Updated

So I just edited my Commissions page to include a sort of menu of "Standard" commissions. I'm pretty sure this will be a bit easier to follow than my 75 cents per measure formula and the huge and lengthy descriptions and scenarios that I have now moved down into a "Custom" commissions section. I really liked Arbiter Chronicles opening sample from your website. Some of it reminds me of "The River" by Virgil Thomson.

Hey, thanks...! I'm not familiar with the piece, but I shall definitely check it out. There is a great Virgil Thomson quote which I posted in one of the lesson studios at the music school:

"I've never known a musician who regretted being one. Whatever deceptions life may have in store for you, music itself is not going to let you down."

So as somebody in the biz (as they say)... How do the numbers look to you?

Do you use Sibelius? Just wondered.

Actually I use Overture 4. I've been using it since Version 2. When I was moving from Version 3 to 4, I toyed with the idea of switching to Sibelius or Finale but decided to stick with Overture as I just find it much easier to use. I did my clarinet choir engraving with it which was delivered to Barnhouse as PDF files, and that's what they used for publication. So in my mind, that seems to mean it passes the test for being able to produce professional quality notation.
